RO PARRA
Owner

Millennium Farms’ owner, Rosendo (Ro) Parra, was born in1959 in Ecuador and moved with his family to Maryland in 1974. In 1982 he graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in marketing. Following graduation, Parra spent 12 years with Radio Shack where he served in a number of retail operating roles including store manager, district manager and regional Director.  In his last role at Radio Shack, he oversaw all retail operations for Radio Shack Computer Centers in the North Central Region. Following Radio Shack, Parra spent four years with GRiD Systems Corporation, a producer of ruggedized and pen-based computers.  At GRiD, he was the Vice President and General Manager of the Federal Division based in Washington, D.C. and later of the PC Strategic Business unit based in Fort Worth, Texas. 

Parra joined Dell, Inc. in 1993. For the majority of his last seven years at Dell, he was Senior Vice President and General Manager of Dell Americas.

Bob has been in the Thoroughbred Business for 26 years of farm management. He has been associated with leading consignors at all of the major sales companies; also major stallion farms and all aspects of major central Kentucky Breeding Farms.
 

J. TED NEEL

Through his family's equine operations, J. Ted has had a lifetime of association with the Thoroughbred industry. After obtaining a Masters in Accountancy from the University of Kentucky, he worked for 3 years at Dean, Dorton and Ford, PSC., an accounting and consulting firm renowned for its equine practice. J. Ted has been at Millennium since June of 2006.
 

BRIAN LYLE

Lyle, a native of Arkansas, attended the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith before being accepted into the Taylor Made Farm intern program in 1997. He was later promoted to assistant yearling manager. He then worked with Dr. Larry Bramlage, Dr. Scott Hopper, Dr. Rolf Embertson and Dr. Alan Ruggles in the surgery department at Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital in Lexington before joining Chesapeake in 2004.
 

LAURA CAIN

Laura worked in the Thoroughbred industry in Ireland for 10 years before deciding to move to the United States to expand her knowledge and experience. "Millennium Farms has fulfilled all of my expectations and more, and I look forward to the future here as assistant farm manager."
 

KERRIE CAHILL

Kerrie grew up in the thoroughbred industry; her father was the resident vet and assistant farm manager for John Gaines. She considers herself very lucky to have had such access to some of the great horses in our industry and the knowledge of those people that surround them. "I am excited to see Millennium Farms grow and am happy to be a part of it."
