FOALING We take great pains to deliver healthy foals. Our barns are properly ventilated, disinfected, and cleaned to top standards for a superior nursery. Foaling personnel are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Whether you are a seasonal boarder or a constant tenant, Millennium Farms provides staff who are knowledgeable professionals in proximity of the leading veterinary hospitals and employs experienced farriers. We have ample paddock turn out and lush pastures for developing foals to stretch their legs.
LAY-UPS We know the importance of a well-deserved holiday for any equine athlete. Millennium boasts a State-Of-The-Art Lay-up facility. With an indoor round pen and small paddocks, we are able to properly bring a horse down slowly. Our management is thoroughly knowledgeable of pre and post surgery procedures and medication administration. When the time comes to return to the track, we are prepared to begin the legging-up process to ease the transition of your horse.
SALES PREPARATION In today's powerful sales arena, the presentation of a young horse is immeasurable. We believe it takes more than proper grooming and handling to develop a foal for the ring. Young horses must have access to the best blacksmiths, veterinarians and nutrition. Not only does our sales-prep facility include a walking/jogging machine for fitness, but we hand walk daily. The Millennium program works for both public and private sales.
SALES REPRESENTATION Millennium Farms offers additional services, which include sales representation, under the Millennium Banner. We offer an all inclusive package on our consignments that allow owners to understand, in advance, what to expect when their horse goes through the ring. Millennium Farms also offers bloodstock services including, but not limited to matings, appraisals, partnership and syndicate opportunities. We encompass breeding, racing and sales.
